Here are 30 truths that I know now that I wish I knew in my 20s and my 30s. I learned these while working over 15 years across industries in finance, tech, consulting with some of the largest companies in the world. I read hundreds of books in my spare time across business, human behavior, and personal and professional growth. These are the lessons that change the way I live and work forever. Number one. Stop wasting time impressing people who aren't even paying attention. Social media convinces you that everyone is watching you and judging you.
They're not. They're too busy worrying about their own lives. So live yours and stop comparison writers from ruining your life. Number two, there are no overnight successes. Only over time. Success. We all want hacks and the easier way. But the truth is your favorite creators, thought leaders, and lucky breaks. They took years of showing up when nobody knew who they were. Number three, your attention is your greatest superpower. In a world that's constantly distracted, the ability.
to focus it becomes your unfair advantage. When you learn to control your attention, you learn. to control the direction of your entire life. Number four stop buying anything that you don't really need. When the biggest issues with earning. more as you get older is that you want more things, but the more you own, the more they own you. So keep your life simple so you don't pay more than just the price tag. Number five. Ambition is good, but feeling never enough will destroy you.
The ability to carve out boundaries and know what's enough for you. is what keeps your ambition healthy. Never enough is this endless treadmill. No matter how fast you run, you stay in the same place. No number six if you don't ask. The answer is always no. Most of the opportunities you want are just that one uncomfortable question away. And if the door doesn't open when you do, ask. Build your own door and walk through that instead. Number seven the world rewards consistency more than intensity.

Don't shrink your entire life down to that one line on LinkedIn. Titles can change. Companies change, entire industries change. But your values, character, and your purpose stay with you. Build your identity on something that lasts. Number 12. Most problem you worry about will never happen. We tell ourselves we're stressed because of people or work.
or pressure from life, but when it all comes down to it, you realize you can control your thoughts and choose to let it all go. Number 13 rest is not a luxury. In the hectic daily life that we all have. Your energy is like a battery. If you don't recharge it, everything will eventually shut down. Number 14 stop waiting for the right time. Start with what you have, where you are. You don't need to know every step. Just this next one. Number 15. You can't control how everything turns out. But you can control your effort, your attitude, and how you show up.
And most times, that's all that takes. And it's good enough. Number 16 learn how to learn. Everything you know today will eventually become outdated. The world changes too fast for one degree or one skill to get you through life. Your real vantage is a knowledge. Every time you take action or you meet someone new. Share your work or try something really uncomfortable. You increase your luck surface area and the more you do, the luckier you will get. Consistent choices you make every day. And a loving home is built through being there and how you show up. These are the real flex in life.
The things that no one claps for but will shape your entire life. Number 19 you will never finish everything. The inbox will always refill the next morning. The To-Do list will grow again, and understanding. what actually matters in your work is the only way to stay sane. Productivity isn't about doing it. all, it's about choosing was worth doing right now. Number 20 don't make retirement your goal. If the only thing you're looking forward to is stopping work, then you're building a life that you don't actually want.
Design a life you don't need to escape from. Instead of waiting to start living at 65, number 21, doing nothing cost more than doing it wrong. You can bounce back from a bad decision, but. you can't bounce back from the chances that you never take. Doing nothing to see nothing and make that move even really messy. Number 22 progress Nation is just another version of your fear. Fear of rejection. Fear failure and fear of uncertainty. Instead of trying to be more disciplined,
try to embrace more courage and doing what you're afraid of. Number 23 sleep is the best positivity hack you can drink. all the bulletproof coffee time, block every minute and organize all the apps. But nothing replaces a well-rested brain, a tar brain, and will work twice as hard for half the results. Number 24 safe before spending. Most people spend first and save whatever's left, which is why nothing's ever left. Flip it.
Pay your future self first. Because the real form of financial freedom is waking up. and choosing what you want to do with who you want, wherever you want.
