【Two Days Trip to Nantou, Taiwan】Rainbow suspension bridge, Sun Moon Inn, Delicious must-eat food🌈✨

Hello everyone. I am Carine. Currently, we couldn't be able to travel to other countries due to the pandemic. Also because I need to work on weekdays. So I can only go travel with family on weekends.

We decided to go to Nantou, Taiwan for a two-day-trip. Take a vacation and relax. We're eating McDonald's in the rest area now. Heading to "Shuanglong Rainbow Suspension Bridge". We took a ten-minute shuttle bus ride just now. And still need to walk around 1 km of the uphill road to arrive the entrance of the suspension bridge.

Let's go. It's the Bunun tribe. Is it too hard for you to walk the uphill road since you're over 50 years old? Feeling breathless a little. There are some food vendors on the way to the entrance. We arrived the entrance of "Shuanglong Rainbow Suspension Bridge" now. So this suspension bridge is the longest and deepest in Taiwan.

The whole length is 342 meters long. The deepest part of the suspension bridge is 110 meters deep. which is around 30 stories high. This lady who has wanted to come to visit this suspension bridge for a long time. Every day, she's asking who can accompany her to this suspension bridge. Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet (seven colors). I did the homework, so there's a question for you. There are lots of stairs. So... how many stairs are there?

1000 stairs. Not that many!!! A bit less. 800 stairs. A bit less. 700 stairs. 600 stairs, 500 stairs, 400, 300... A bit more than 400. 500 stairs, 450 stairs. The correct answer is 420 stairs total on this suspension bridge. So now let's go. Feeling really comfortable with the weather today. We walk to Green now already. Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet. There are two waterfalls.

So the full name of the suspension bridge is called. "Shuanglong Rainbow Suspension Bridge" (If you literal translate "Shuanglong", which means "double dragons"). BINGO. The deepest of this suspension bridge is 110 meters deep. So if you look down while walking, actually it's quite scary. And the gap size is quite similar to the size of a cellphone. Need to be careful of your cellphone.

Grilled sausage. It's too hot, so we bought one handmade lemon Aiyu. We're waiting for the shuttle bus (There're some vendors). We just tried the dried peaches and chinese herbal seedless olives. They're both delicious. It's only NTD150 for one pack and NTD500 for four packs. They have garlic granules. And also sliced garlic.

Try it now. What? You wanna eat? And one slice of onion. So you can have the steak with the garlic granules and garlic slices when you cook at home. Just finished our first stop "Shuanglong Rainbow Suspension Bridge" today.

Remember to book the ticket online first. Because you cannot purchase on-site ticket (it works as well if you purchase the ticket online at the moment). Our main event today is the place we will stay over tonight "Sun Moon Inn". Their guesthouse is really textured. Raw concrete with lots of wood decors.

The lobby is well lighted (there's a big window on the ceiling). This is the room we will stay over tonight. Here's a mirror. These are the bath products they provided (so luxurious).

Tissue papers, hair dryer, mugs and electric kettle. The lighting is perfect here too. Here's the bathroom. Toilet. The toilet and shower room are seperated. There're lots of sentences on the wall. What is it written. "Learn for yesterday, live for today and hope for tomorrow".

"Nothing is impossible". "It's never too late". We can put our shoes here in front of the stair. It's the open closet. TV. Two double beds. And also a sofa. There is a fridge under this shelf.

It's the restaurant recommended by the hotel (Sun Moon Restaurant). All look so delicious. These are the tube rice pudding and baked chicken with scallions that we order. Let's have a try now. Yes, it's tasty. So small (So cute~). Mini bamboo.

We're going to try the fried bananas now. Couldn't take it up. It's slippery. Full of the taste of banana. It's banana inside. In fact, it's quite delicious.

But indeed, it's just the taste of banana. So is it just banana? Yes, it's just banana! And there's a crepe outside. Our guesthouse is located around here. The closest pier to us is Shuishe Pier. Snack Time! It's 8:30 in the morning now and we're going to have the breakfast. I heard that their breakfast is really sumptuous. I'm so excited. Wow~ Here comes our breakfast. This plant is china pink. And this one is rose de parfum.

So adorable. This is the plant that we see often. What a substantial breakfast. These plants are all planted by the owner in the garden. The textures and the tastes are all different among these plants. This one "rose de parfum", it's the prettiest. But when I ate it, I prefer "china pink". This is the knife they provide. So cute. Going to cut the pork now.

This is Assam black tea with salba chia seeds. The beverage for breakfast. There is also soy milk. This is the owner of the guesthouse. She's really pretty and temperamental. We have searched a lot of sites and delicious food in Nantou. The first one is "生食パン (nama shokupan)" from Feeling 18。 They told us the flavors of matcha and raisin will be out from the oven in 1pm.

So we only bought the original flavor and chocolate flavor. We bought three loafs of chocolate flavor and one loaf of original flavor. Next to the bakery, there's a store selling products of fragrance. We bought six bottles of the perfume for clothes. And this is the shower gel for pets.

The second stop will be "Chengxiang QQ Taro Balls". But I will need to say sorry for the people who love taro. Because I really hate taro!!! But it's ok because my sister is a taro lover. She'll eat and show to you guys. Because I don't eat taro, so what I ordered are all fruits, pudding and milk. And like pineapples and mulberries are all fresh fruits made by them, not from the cans.

Let's see if the taro is delicious or not. So I think their taro puree tastes really dense. And also not too sweet. I like the taro balls as well. I eat taro often because I really like it, so I'm also picky about it. I recommend the taro lovers can come to have a try. I think it's really good. This is the lunch for today.

It's full of meat and the dumpling wrapper is really chewy and delicious. After having lunch, of course we will need to have some desserts. Next to the restaurant, car ride within 2 mins and walk within 10 mins. There's a really famous store selling ice crem sandwich. It's milk flavor. Sensitive teeth :)). Is it delicious? Is it raisins inside? The milk taste is really strong.
